VINETIA 2020 – The AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) Guide to Veneto Wines
- Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut Nature Millesimato 2017 “Bartolo”: Full straw yellow with moderate perlage that revives a good brightness. On the nose it gives floral aromas of orange blossom, acacia, broom and hawthorn and fruity of white melon, kiwi, green apple and lime. Interesting on the palate for cleanliness and balance, with the note of freshness mitigated by a correct mineral flavor and pleasant fruity returns that we also find in the fresh and pleasant finish. Only steel.
- Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut “Labano”: Bright greenish yellow color, with thin, numerous and continuous bubbles, forming a rich lasting foam. Good elegance that begins with a slight sensation of cut grass and then offers hints of apple, peach and melon. So traces of lime and a hint of thyme. On the palate it is linear, convincing and pleasant. The initial flavor is immediately balanced by a correct and correct freshness. Closes with good length on fresh citrus notes. Steel stop.
- Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry “Gelmo”: Straw with greenish reflections, with a slow and continuous perlage. It presents itself on the nose with citrus and fruity sensations of pear, apple and white peach. It continues with the floral notes of wisteria and jasmine and a light touch of sage. At the sip we find the fresh and savory component well merged, while the closure is hinged on citrus flavors. Steel.
- Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry Millesimato 2018 “Giosuè”: The fine and continuous perlage enhances the brightness of the color and favors the spread of an olfactory route of remarkable typicality. Pear and golden apple, white peach and citrus, vegetal sensations of aromatic herbs, complemented by a mineral touch of wet stone, all in fragrant fusion. The palate is well balanced with freshness and flavor enhanced thanks to the correct dosage. The finish is pleasant, with nuances of almond flavors. Steel.
