VINETIA 2024 – THE GUIDE TO VENETO WINES BY AIS (ITALIAN SOMMELIER ASSOCIATION)
Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut Millesimato “Bartolo”: Its straw yellow is bright and intense, with a creamy and very persistent perlage. Fine aromatic framework where aromas of peach, quince and notes of aromatic herbs intertwine. At the sip, good balance between flavor and freshness with a finish that evokes rose, grapefruit and peach.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut “Labano”: Clear greenish yellow with fine bubbles. Evolved in notes of ripe fruit such as Renetta apple and white peach that intertwine with those of thyme, sage and almond on a floral background of acacia. The palate is enveloped in energetic freshness and flavor for a long, balanced and dry finish.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry “Gelmo”: Straw yellow with lively and persistent foam, dynamic and fine bubbles. Evolved on the nose, with a marked minerality where the chalky matrix is recognisable. Lemon peel, pink grapefruit and white flowers. On the palate the freshness is diluted in the soft notes, offering a rich taste and persistence of character.
