PROSECCO HILLS OF CONEGLIANO AND VALDOBBIADENE ARE UNESCO HERITAGE
On 7 July in Baku (Azerbaijan) the UNESCO World Heritage Committee approved with full marks the inclusion of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene on its list, a list of sites that represent particularities of exceptional importance from a cultural or natural point of view.
The path for the candidacy had started in 2008, by the Veneto Region, then continuing laboriously over the years. Now the certificate: the 97 square kilometers of vineyards and villages between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene become the eighth Veneto site and the 55th Italian site.
Our hills are finally World Heritage Site.
