VINETIA 2019 – THE AIS (ITALIAN SOMMELIER ASSOCIATION) VENETO WINES GUIDE
Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut Nature Millesimato 2017 “Bartolo”
Very pale straw yellow color, lively and with a foam with minute bubbles that persists in the glass. The nose recognizes initial mineral notes of wet stone followed by hawthorn, wisteria, apple and a light hint of cedar. Determined to taste, corroborated by a lively carbonate, it develops in sufficient balance thanks also to the softness of the entry and concluding on savory and bitter tones. Mature in steel.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut “Labano”
Shimmering in its straw-colored garment. Fruity variation between citrus peel and green apple. On the palate hints of aromatic herbs amplify the bittering sensations. Invigorating sip, thanks to a strong acidic shoulder and an impetuous effervescence. Slightly savory and austere closure. Steel.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry “Gelmo”
Soft straw yellow with good liveliness, fine and persistent perlage. Panorama suffused with pear and a very light banana, nettle, linden, hazelnut and aromatic herbs among light mineral puffs. Creamy on the palate and pleasantly balanced, the soft sensations accompany all the tasting. Citrus and vegetable returns in closing. Steel.
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry Millesimato 2017 “Giosuè”
Clear and bright in straw tones, dense and continuous perlage. Fragrant fruity stamp of citrus and ripe fruit with yellow flesh. The gustatory freshness is accompanied by softer sensations reminiscent of lemon jelly candy, orange blossom and in the most juicy timbre, white cherry. A lively and balanced sip that makes you want to drink it. Steel.
